Mr Wu Sor Hwa, Malaysian is currently a Director of MPA.

 

He obtained a Master Degree in Business Management from the Asian Institute of Management, the Philippines in 1975 and his basic degree is a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Malaya, Malaysia in 1971.

 

He started his career in banking and had worked in merchant banking as well as commercial banking sectors for more than 15 years. He subsequently entered the corporate sector in 1987 and had worked for several public listed companies in Hong Kong and Malaysia at the board level holding executive as well non-executive positions. The major companies he was involved with in his corporate career are Alliance Banking group, Bolton Berhad, Lien Hoe Corporation Bhd and Asean Resources Ltd. The principal activities of these companies is diverse, including banking and finance, property development, manufacturing and trading.
