Dr Mazlan, a Malaysian has been the Project Coordinator of MPAS since 2015. He was appointed as a Director of the MPA on 19 January 2012. He is responsible for the business development and R&D of the MPA Group.

 

Dr Mazlan holds a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine from Universiti Putra Malaysia and a Master in Business Administration from Ohio University.

 

Prior to joining MPA, Dr Mazlan was a General Manager of MTDC focusing on MTDC Biotechnolgy Holding Sdn Bhd and appointed as director to several of MTDC’s investee companies.

 

Dr Mazlan is registered with the Malaysian Veterinary Council under The Veterinary Acts 1974 and has vast experience and contacts in the animal health and feed industry of Malaysia upon graduation in 1984. He is currently the honorary treasurer of World’s Poultry Science Association (WPSA) Malaysian branch and executive council member of the Veterinary Association of Malaysia (VAM).

 

MPA has benefitted from Dr Mazlan’s intimate knowledge on the animal health and feed area and their specific requirements especially in research and commercialization ecosystem in Malaysia. This has contributed to MPA’s R&D and product diversification program.
