COAL TAR

DESCRIPTION AND USES :

Coal tar is a by-product from purification of coke oven gas. It can be used to manufacture paints, synthetic dyes and photographic materials. Coal tar can be used for making electrodes for the aluminium and steel industries. Other use is to be incorporated into some parking-lot sealcoat products, which are used to protect and beautify the underlying pavement.
